ROLE OVERVIEW: As Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining prep levels, quality and availability as well as the cleanliness of the kitchen.

Because of your talents and love of food you will take great delight in turning the great ethically sourced products we purchase into the high quality innovative dishes that our customer have come to love and expect from us.

The kitchen assistant position is a development role. You will be given training and mentored to be able to assume assistant kitchen manager duties.

A) EXPECTATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE

1 Deliver high quality, fast and on spec prep

2 Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adherence to health and safety and food hygiene laws.

3 Manage stock areas with good stock rotation and organisation

4 Have extensive product knowledge

5 Understand and be able to support on stock and order

6 Develop service skills and be able to work in a support role to the K2 and KM
