I'm looking to hire a trainee/graduate/junior web developer for our growing business. The role involved mainly PHP-based web development.
This might be a first or second job, there is no requirement for previous commercial experience but if you have none you will need to demonstrate having made some headway in teaching yourself web development or have a relevant qualification.
Our most recent newbie started 2 weeks ago, so it'd be a good time to start and learn alongside them.
You will be working on Simitive’s products and services, including our SaaS performance management suite. We have products for goal/objective setting, online appraisal, learning management and loads more.
The office is a friendly, laid back place in the centre of Bristol, near the water. We have the lease on a fairly large old building and plan to grow without moving. In the meantime we let space to other small companies and freelancers. There are showers for those who want to cycle to work, nice coffee in the kitchen… All the usual stuff you’d expect from this type of company.
The right candidates
- Want to be proper, smart, techies, not 'site builders' or 'themers'.
- Have a genuine interest in technology and making things work.
- Want to work for a young company to be around for the interesting few years where we find out what happens next. But still want the security of it being a commercially sound, stable company, not a risky one that saps funding, hoping someone buys it before they run out of money!
If you're a bit more experienced that this ad is aimed at, still get in touch as we always have vacancies open if we happen to meet the right person.
